dining
At the heart of The Peat Inn is the kitchen. From 1972 to 2006, David Wilson’s total dedication earned his cooking an international reputation. In June 2006, he handed over the reins to Geoffrey Smeddle, award winning chef and columnist. Under Geoffrey and Katherine’s care the restaurant continues to flourish.
Three small dining rooms make up the restaurant, providing an intimate setting for lunch or dinner. Each room is also available for private parties if required. Add to this the warm reception lounge with it's deep sofas and open log fire, the restaurant creates an atmosphere which is refined, classic but very friendly and relaxed.
From your aperitif upon arrival, to coffee taken either by the fire in winter or in the gardens in summer, you will enjoy every moment of the wonderful cuisine and hospitality at The Peat Inn. |
