Getting to the Peat Inn is remarkably easy.

From Edinburgh & the South
From Edinburgh follow the signs for the Forth road bridge (there is a toll of £1 on the bridge). This takes you on to the M90, follow this to Junction 2A, take the A92 and follow the signs for Kirkcaldy and St Andrews.

Continue on this road until you come to a roundabout. Take the 3rd exit from this roundabout and continue to the next roundabout where you follow the A915 signposted Leven.

Keep on the A915 through Leven to Upper Largo having passed through Lundin Links.

In Upper Largo the A915 goes off to the left - signposted Largoward and St Andrews. A mile or so along this road, take the B941 – signposted Peat Inn and Cupar – the Inn is about 1.5 miles along this road on the left.

From Cupar
At the east end of Cupar you will see a public park. Just beside this you will see the signs for the B940.

Follow this through the village of Pitscottie (straight on at the cross roads) until you come to the village of Peat Inn and the Inn is in a prominent roadside position on the right.

From Dundee, St Andrews & the North East
From Dundee cross the Tay Road Bridge (80p toll) at the south end follow the A92 to the next roundabout. Take the first exit (A919) and follow this via Leuchars and Guardbridge to St Andrews.

On reaching St Andrews continue to the 2nd roundabout and turn right, this will take you to a further roundabout where you continue straight on. Follow the signs for the A915 towards Kirkcaldy and Leven.

Follow this road out of St Andrews for approx 5 miles until you come to a small junction at Higham Toll. Take the turn off on your right signposted to the village of Peat Inn (B940). This road comes out opposite the Peat Inn.

From Perth & the North
From Perth follow the signs for Edinburgh and the Forth Road Bridge, this will take you on to the M90.

Follow this until the signs for the A913 (approx 2 miles) take this exit and follow the A913 to a roundabout and there follow the signs for Cupar. Continue following these signs to Cupar and there you will come to the junction with the A91.

Turn left and go right through the town until you come to the traffic lights at the T-junction where you will see a public park straight ahead. Turn left and continue for 100 yards at which point you will see a fork in the road signposted Pitscottie and The Peat Inn on the B940. Follow this through the village of Pitscottie approximately 4 miles. Go straight on at the cross roads and continue for 3 miles until you come to the village of Peat Inn and the Inn is in a prominent roadside position on the right.

From Stirling
From Stirling take the A9 north to Perth. At the approach to Perth follow the signs for Edinburgh and the Forth Road Bridge, this will take you on to the M90.

Follow this until the signs for the A913 (approx 2 miles) take this exit and follow the A 913 to a roundabout and there follow the signs for Cupar. Continue following these signs to Cupar and there you will come to the junction with the A91. Turn left through the town until you see the signs for the B940. Follow this through the village of Pitscottie (straight on at the cross roads) until you come to the village of Peat Inn and the Inn is in a prominent roadside position on the right.
